Before you will be able to actively participate in and contribute to our portal - e.g. by adding pages or comments - we ask you to register.
STEP 1. Please click on "register" and fill out the form - or send us an email to workinggroup@unstudies.org so that we can set up an account for you. You will receive an email with your login information.
Click on "Login" in the left navigation bar and enter your user name. Your user name comprises your first and last name, separated by a blank: "Henrike Paepcke".
STEP 2. Submit your entries. Welcome to the portal!
STEP 3. You can now start working, e.g. by entering comments or creating your own pages.
Go to the Activities section to get started! Or add information to your personal profile such as a photo, your fields of interests and affiliation.
For more information about the portal, please see our full tutorial (forthcoming in mid-November 2009) or our FAQ.
STEP 1. To create a new page, go to "Activities" and choose the section where your contribution should appear (e.g. institutions or papers in the resource & links section). Continue to browse until you get to the page to which your new page should be attached (as a so-called "child" page or sub-page).
2. Click on "create child page" at the bottom of the page. You have now created a new (sub-)page which automatically opens in the "edit" mode.
3. On this new page, add a title, enter the text, attach any kind of files, if needed, and save. (Ignore all other functions below the textbox except for the "file attachments" option.)
Click here for a screenshot of a typical page.
Your contribution will automatically appear in the list of all content (in the left navigation bar) so that others can find it more easily.
Alternatively, you can add comments to any page where the comment function is enabled.
STEP 1. You can easily edit the current by clicking on the "edit" button in the upper menu. The page will open up in the "edit" mode.
STEP 2. You can change the title, edit the text, add more attachments - as you wish.
STEP 3. Please do not forget to save your changes!
