1. UN Studies in the Regions

Referring to the section 'UN Studies in the Regions', we are planning to establish a separate interactive portal for UN Studies experts, whose viewpoints are often not taken into account. The aim is to facilitate networking, interaction and capacity building among thos regional experts and the larger UN Studies community.

All in all, we are seeking to increase the visibility of all UN Studies related activities in different regions of the world and to better connect all those behind these activities.

More information will be provided as soon as possible.

2. JIOS first edition is upcoming

We look forward to the publication of the first issue of JIOS in September 2010. Interest in JIOS has been strong with exciting contributions to the journal, which will support the journal’s mission as well as contribute to the discussions we had as part of our UNSA dialogues.

3. UNSA Dialogues

As a follow-up to our Bonn 2008 Seminar on UN Research and Teaching, we have introduced regular conference calls - the UNSA Dialogues -  to discuss a common concept of UN studies, innovative research and successful teaching tools.

The next conference call will be in autumn 2010.
